Weekend - Night Shift Fork Truck Driver w/ Class A CDL

Location: Jackson, TN, USA. Onsite weekend night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; overtime may be required.

Pay: $27.21/hour, increasing to $28.29/hour after 90 days and $29.97/hour after 180 days if qualifications are met. Night and weekend shift differentials are $1/hour each.

What you will do

• Operate sit-down forklifts to lift, load, move, and store materials.
• Load approximately 20 pallets onto 48-foot roller-bed trailers and drive an automatic day cab with trailer to a nearby customer.
• Manually unload individual pallets onto conveyors using a hook, repeating the process approximately 5–6 times per shift.
• Inspect machinery and work areas, follow safety precautions, and maintain required operating records.
• Maintain and repair forklift equipment as needed and document maintenance procedures.
• Support shipping and logistics operations involving storage and transportation of materials.

Requirements

• Valid Tennessee Class A CDL and active DOT medical card required. Offers are contingent on a driving-record review.
• hirify.global must be the only employer under which driving or DOT hours are logged.
• At least two years of forklift-driving experience and current or previous forklift certification.
• Previous computer experience, including entering and retrieving information from multiple systems, reading Excel reports, and using an RF scanner.
• Ability to repeatedly get on and off forklifts and in and out of an automatic day cab during the shift.
• Ability to work in extreme heat or cold and perform sitting, standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, kneeling, and carrying duties.
