CDL Hazmat Delivery Truck Driver

Location: SCP Distributors, 151 West Providencia Avenue, Burbank, California 91502. Local deliveries only; home every night. Work hours start at 6:30 a.m. and continue until routes are complete.

Salary: $25–$27 per hour, plus benefits and eligibility for annual bonuses.

What you will do

• Make safe, complete, accurate, and on-time local deliveries using effective routes.
• Load and unload products, secure materials, and separate hazardous materials appropriately.
• Collect payments and accurately document each delivery.
• Maintain compliance with Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier Safety, state, and federal regulations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report maintenance needs, and keep the vehicle clean and presentable.
• Maintain product knowledge and perform additional assigned duties.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid commercial driver's license with a HAZMAT endorsement.
• Motor Vehicle Record and Pre-Employment Screening Program results showing no more than two combined violations or at-fault accidents during the past three years.
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Good written and verbal communication, customer service skills, and ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background verification is required for this safety-sensitive position.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with PCs and material-handling equipment.
• Moffett, Skelly, or air-brake experience.
