Relief Driver - CDL (B)

Location: Fort Collins, Colorado, USA

Starting rate: $29 per hour. Pay range: $26.65–$36.62 per hour, depending on locality.

What you will do

• Safely operate a collection truck along assigned routes and to disposal facilities.
• Perform complete pre-operation and post-operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues.
• Lift and load refuse, operate compactors, and dispose of collected materials at designated facilities.
• Provide courteous service to customers and coordinate with dispatchers and supervisors.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable materials, tag unsatisfactory containers, and clean accidental spills.
• Complete route sheets, vehicle condition reports, productivity records, and other required documentation.

Requirements

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License with an air brakes endorsement.
• Ability to follow company, state, and federal safety regulations and procedures.
• Customer service, time management, follow-through, and professional communication skills.
• Two years of prior commercial truck driving experience preferred.
• This is a DOT position.
