NPI Test Manufacturing Technician

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States; onsite

Compensation: $23.90–$44.40 per hour

What you will do

• Fix equipment issues and support daily production through product solving, testing, and validation.
• Assist with layout planning, installation, and testing of automated and semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
• Execute core testing and help develop functional testing processes and work instructions.
• Support new-product transitions into standard production through training and implementation support.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with suppliers to procure and install tooling, fixtures, and equipment; document processes, product improvements, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.

Requirements

• High school diploma, AA/AS degree, or other two-year post-secondary training.
• Two years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office, MRP systems, SolidWorks, and similar computer programs; JD Edwards experience is preferred.
• Ability to process engineering change orders for bills of material and product routings.
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability, Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and product labor and material costing.
• Ability to document processes as work instructions, work independently, collaborate across functions, and adapt to changing conditions.
