NPI Engineering Co-Op

Location: Chaska, Minnesota, United States; onsite work in a manufacturing environment

Salary: $20-$30 per hour, depending on overall skills.

What you will do

• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process records, and standard operating procedures.
• Support the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing equipment and production processes.
• Collaborate with Development, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to define robust products and scalable manufacturing processes.
• Assist with planning, execution, and documentation of Validation & Qualification activities for new products, equipment, and processes.
• Analyze process data and support continuous improvement focused on safety, quality, efficiency, and reliability.
• Communicate project progress, results, and recommendations through meetings, presentations, and written reports.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled student familiar with university requirements for participating in a co-op program.
• Studying Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, with graduation expected in 2027 or 2028.
• Available to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., from January through June.
• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or similar for engineering drawings and equipment layouts.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize tasks, communicate effectively, and deliver results on time.
• Must not require hirify.global immigration sponsorship now or in the future, including H-1B, TN, or STEM OPT sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Prior internship or work experience in a manufacturing setting.
