Mechanical Claims Adjuster II (Automotive Claims)

Location: Remote work from Dallas, Texas, United States. Schedule: Monday–Friday, either 10:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m. EST or 10:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. EST.

hirify.global operates a customer experience claims function supporting automotive, RV, powersports, and other unit claims.

What you will do

• Adjudicate claims submitted through web portals and work queues, verifying validity, accuracy, agreement terms, and applicable state requirements.
• Open and review new claims, collect missing information, request photographs or inspections, and authorize eligible claims.
• Provide claim-status updates, communicate web-submission instructions, and handle customer and internal follow-up.
• Meet claim-handling, communication, authorization, and contact-center performance metrics.
• Maintain claims audit and quality-control standards while participating in coaching and development activities.
• Support other departments, cross-train, and assist the Mechanical Claims Lead and Supervisor with projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 3 years of customer service or administrative experience.
• Strong written communication, organization, prioritization, judgment, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Experience using computer hardware, software, multiple monitors, and Microsoft Office programs.
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute, strong 10-key skills, and strong mathematical aptitude.
• Ability to work the stated EST schedule remotely from the United States and perform extended computer-based work.

Nice to have

• Contact-center claims or automotive service experience.
• Experience with automotive mechanical claims, service writing, or repair-facility operations.
• Understanding of automotive systems, repair processes, and labor guides such as Mitchell or AllData.
