Production Group Leader (Manufacturing)

Location: Aurora, Ohio, USA; onsite, second shift Monday–Thursday, 2:30 p.m.–12:30 a.m.

Salary: $25–$31.25 per hour, plus benefits.

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day production operations on the assigned shift.
• Organize labor, materials, and support services to meet production schedules, quality standards, and shipping commitments.
• Coach, train, motivate, and support production team members while assisting the Production Supervisor.
• Implement standard operating procedures and recommend improvements to production processes.
• Monitor equipment use, PPE compliance, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate material flow, production goals, issues, and improvement recommendations with supervisors and other departments.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least three years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to read basic drawings and work orders, use hand and power tools, and perform basic mechanical and mathematical calculations.
• Ability to supervise or coach staff, support teamwork and process improvement, and promote quality and safety.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, machining, production, logistics, and manufacturing control software.
• Ability to obtain and maintain industrial equipment certifications, such as crane, forklift, and power jack certifications.
• Ability to work extended, evening, or occasional weekend hours and travel for training when required.
