QC & Compliance Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Norristown, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite five days per week

What you will do

• Lead daily quality activities for the Norristown manufacturing operation and coordinate raw material and finished product release.
• Maintain traceability, testing records, QMS documentation, SOPs, work instructions, and audit readiness.
• Lead nonconformance investigations, root cause analysis, CAPA plans, internal audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor quality KPIs, analyze trends, and report quality performance, risks, corrective actions, and improvement opportunities to leadership.
• Support global regulatory compliance across the U.S., EU, UK, Asia, the Middle East, and Australia/New Zealand, including coordination with overseas QA teams.
• Supervise, coach, train, and develop the quality team while partnering with production, supply chain, suppliers, contract manufacturers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Quality, Engineering, or a related scientific or technical field, or 5+ years of progressive quality management experience in a relevant manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated quality experience in manufacturing or production and prior direct people management experience.
• Experience with QMS, SOP development, document control, internal audits, CAPA, nonconformance, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing quality controls, material traceability, product release, quality data analysis, and KPI reporting.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, project management, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Norristown, Pennsylvania five days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience in toy, consumer product, chemical compounding, plastics, or similar manufacturing environments.
• Experience with global regulatory compliance, international manufacturing facilities, suppliers, laboratories, or overseas QA teams.
• Knowledge of toy or consumer product safety and testing standards.
• Proficiency with FTIR/ATR, texture analyzers, TGA, Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
