Data Application Developer

What you will do

• Design, develop, code, test, debug, and maintain enterprise applications across technology platforms.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and programming instructions.
• Analyze data sources, assess business and client impact, and recommend solutions.
• Develop database management solutions, including backup and batch-processing support.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot application issues, and collaborate with business, technology, vendor, and client partners.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and information security standards.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience as a Data Application Developer.
• Strong Oracle programming and SQL coding experience, including queries in relational databases.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, batch processing, application production support, troubleshooting, and application testing.
• Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• Advanced verbal communication skills and the ability to manage relationships with business and technology partners.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada at the specified location; a valid work or study permit may be required.
