What you will do

• Lead AWS platform strategy, governance, architecture, security, scalability, reliability, performance, and operational health.
• Lead and develop an AWS engineering team through coaching, inclusive leadership, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Partner with Product Owners to prioritize Agile work, manage capacity, deliver releases, and improve delivery metrics.
• Establish development, integration, security, and platform standards while overseeing integrations, upgrades, monitoring, incidents, and technical debt reduction.
• Identify automation opportunities and deliver reusable digital capabilities that improve operational efficiency and business outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading enterprise application platforms, software engineering, Agile delivery, or enterprise technology solutions.
• 2+ years of direct or indirect people leadership experience.
• Experience with AWS, Agile delivery, enterprise integrations, APIs, cloud technologies, DevOps/CI/CD, and platform operations.
• Proficiency with Python or similar interpreted languages, RESTful APIs, SQL, relational databases, and source code management tools.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, stakeholder management, adaptability, innovation, AI fluency, and operational risk awareness.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience developing, deploying, and managing AWS-based or similar cloud solutions.
• Experience with application performance monitoring technologies.
