Training Specialist (Manufacturing)

Location: Stafford, Connecticut, United States; on-site role with flexible shifts across all shifts as needed

What you will do

• Identify training and development needs for new hires and existing employees through job analysis, surveys, interviews, and management consultations.
• Develop and deliver onboarding, process, technical, cross-training, and leadership development programs for production employees.
• Plan, facilitate, implement, and track training programs across multiple shifts.
• Evaluate training effectiveness, update materials, and recommend retraining or process improvements.
• Prepare annual training plans, budgets, management reports, and communications about training programs and updates.
• Collaborate with production leaders, Quality, Human Resources, site leadership, and external training vendors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least two years of training and development facilitation experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of manufacturing procedures, process training, and training concepts and principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, organizational, decision-making, and time-management skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident due to ITAR requirements.
