Recruiter (Biotech)

Location: Palo Alto, California, United States

Base salary: $150,000–$186,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Own the full-cycle recruiting process for roles across technology centers, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer closing.
• Build pipelines for scientific and leadership positions across multi-omics, genome engineering, cellular modeling, mammalian disease modeling, and computational biology.
• Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders, setting expectations and guiding interview and evaluation decisions.
• Develop and improve efficient, scalable recruiting processes with the broader recruiting team.
• Represent Arc’s mission and values throughout the candidate experience.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree and 8+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in life sciences, biotech, or scientific research.
• Experience recruiting across scientific functions and levels, including senior and leadership roles.
• Relevant biology recruiting experience, including genome engineering, cellular engineering, multi-omics, molecular or cell biology, or neuroscience.
• Strong sourcing, candidate engagement, closing, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience with an ATS such as Greenhouse and sourcing or CRM tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and Gem.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and a track record of meeting or exceeding hiring goals.

Nice to have

• Experience recruiting computational roles such as machine learning research scientists, computational biologists, or bioinformatics scientists.
• In-house recruiting experience.
