M365 Engineer (Microsoft 365)

What you will do

• Administer, configure, monitor, and optimize Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID, Groups, Apps, and Copilot.
• Design collaboration, telephony, meeting, document management, and information architecture solutions.
• Implement Microsoft security and compliance controls, including Defender, Conditional Access, MFA, DLP, retention, records management, sensitivity labels, and information protection policies.
• Support Microsoft 365 Copilot deployment, governance, adoption, licensing, and productivity use cases.
• Develop automation and administrative tooling with PowerShell, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Microsoft Graph.
• Provide technical leadership for migrations, upgrades, integrations, incident escalation, on-call support, and platform enhancements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience administering Microsoft 365 environments, including enterprise-scale tenants.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may substitute.
• Experience implementing Microsoft 365 security and compliance controls, hybrid identity, authentication, and Exchange hybrid deployments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 administration, Teams, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID, Defender, Purview, Power Platform, and Copilot.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting, automation, Microsoft Graph API, identity and access management, Conditional Access, MFA, and Zero Trust principles.
• Ability to work in the New York location.

Nice to have

• Microsoft, ITIL Foundation, Certified Scrum Product Owner, or SAFe certifications.
• Experience with Azure services, cloud infrastructure, global enterprises, and multinational organizations.
