Sr. Engineer, System Administration (Microsoft 365)

Salary: USD 137,000–176,000 per year, plus bonus eligibility

What you will do

• Own and continuously improve Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Power Platform, and Copilot.
• Define platform architecture, governance, security standards, lifecycle controls, and operational practices across Microsoft 365 workloads.
• Administer identity and access capabilities, including Conditional Access, MFA, authentication, authorization, group management, SSO, SCIM, and user lifecycle processes.
• Design collaboration governance for Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft 365 Groups, external sharing, retention, and information protection.
• Build automation and integrations with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, Power Automate, APIs, and related tools.
• Lead complex issue escalation, root cause analysis, security and compliance activities, documentation, recovery testing, and business continuity initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience administering and engineering Microsoft 365 services in an enterprise environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Entra ID, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
• Experience implementing Conditional Access, MFA, identity governance, data protection, retention, and collaboration governance controls.
• Proficiency with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and automation or integration tooling.
• Strong understanding of modern identity, cloud security, collaboration platforms, and enterprise service management.
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, communication, documentation, and stakeholder partnership skills.
