Senior Systems Administrator (Microsoft 365 GCC High)

Location: 100% onsite at the El Segundo, California headquarters

Salary: $133,500–$190,050 annual base salary plus equity

hirify.global is a startup developing portable, factory-built nuclear microreactors for hospitals, data centers, remote sites, and military bases.

What you will do

• Own the Microsoft 365 GCC High tenant, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, configuration, and licensing.
• Manage Entra identity and access, including Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management, application registrations, and single sign-on.
• Build IAM automation for joiner, mover, and leaver workflows, HR-driven entitlements, Graph and SCIM provisioning, and automated access reviews.
• Manage Windows endpoints through Intune, Autopilot, compliance policies, and update rings without on-premises Active Directory or Group Policy.
• Own email security, information protection, SaaS integrations, and AWS workloads while partnering with the IT DevOps engineer.
• Implement and document technical controls and evidence for the CMMC assessment, and take new platform projects from concept through deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field; four years of relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• 7+ years of production systems administration and engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 GCC High, Entra, IAM automation, Intune without Group Policy, email security, Purview, SaaS administration, and AWS.
• Strong networking fundamentals covering VLANs, routing, firewall policies, DNS/DHCP, VPN, and wireless.
• Experience implementing compliance controls and collecting evidence; willingness to provide tier-1 support when needed.
• Must work 100% onsite at the El Segundo headquarters and be willing to work extended hours and weekends when necessary.

Nice to have

• Experience with Purview DLP, sensitivity labeling, retention, or eDiscovery.
• CMMC or NIST 800-171 exposure.
• Identity governance experience with Entra ID Governance, SailPoint, Okta Workflows, or an equivalent platform.
• Automation experience with PowerShell, Python, Microsoft Graph, and infrastructure as code such as Terraform or Bicep.
• Experience deploying Box, Slack, or comparable platforms in regulated environments.
