Company

hirify.global is a biotechnology company developing medicines across oncology, inflammation, general medicine, rare disease, obesity, and related therapeutic areas.

What you will do

  • Design, execute, analyze, and interpret in vitro and ex vivo studies of rare disease mechanisms and therapeutic hypotheses.
  • Generate experimental data for target identification, validation, and progression of rare disease programs.
  • Investigate transcriptional dysregulation, protein aggregation, cellular stress responses, and neurological or neuromuscular processes.
  • Establish scalable experimental platforms, including advanced human cellular and iPSC-based disease models.
  • Integrate experimental results with literature, human genetics, clinical observations, and other data sources to support scientific decisions.
  • Collaborate with disease biologists, computational scientists, translational researchers, academic partners, and scientific experts; present findings to research and governance teams.

Requirements

  • PhD in immunology, neurology, cell biology, molecular biology, pharmacology, biomedical sciences, or a related discipline; or a master’s degree with 3 years of scientific research experience; or a bachelor’s degree with 5 years of scientific research experience.
  • Experience in neurobiology, genetic disease biology, or related therapeutic areas.
  • Experience with disease mechanisms involving protein aggregation, RNA toxicity, gene silencing, cellular stress responses, or neurological and neuromuscular processes.
  • Expertise developing, maintaining, and using iPSC-derived cellular models, including neuronal differentiation, glial systems, organoids, or other advanced human cellular systems.
  • Ability to combine experimental and computational approaches and work effectively in collaborative, matrixed research environments.
  • Commitment to scientific rigor, teamwork, knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and adaptability.

Nice to have

  • Experience with patient-derived and genetically engineered cellular models.
  • Familiarity with CRISPR-based approaches, gene editing, or functional genomics.
  • Experience with AI-enabled scientific tools, image analysis workflows, computational biology, or advanced data analytics.

Culture & Benefits

  • Collaborative, innovative, science-based research culture.
  • Health, dental, vision, life, disability, and flexible spending benefits for eligible employees and dependents.
