Associate Scientist, Bioassay Development & Screening (Biotechnology)

Location: On-site in Tarrytown, New York, United States. Full-time standard business hours with flexibility for occasional before- and after-hours meetings and corporate events. Minimal to no travel; consistent on-site availability is required.

Salary: $70,300–$110,100 annually.

What you will do

• Culture mammalian cell lines and primary human immune cells.
• Generate and characterize engineered cell lines.
• Develop and execute high-throughput cell-based functional assays.
• Perform flow cytometry and other cell-based characterization studies.
• Analyze data, troubleshoot experiments, maintain accurate records, and present findings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams supporting preclinical and clinical drug candidates.

Requirements

• BS in a life sciences discipline with at least one year of relevant experience, or an MS in life sciences.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture and cell engineering techniques.
• Experience with cell-based assays and data analysis.
• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability to interpret complex data and present scientific findings to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to work consistently on-site in Tarrytown, New York.

Nice to have

• Flow cytometry experience.
• Knowledge of immunology and immune cell functional assays.
