Senior Staff ASIC Platform Engineer

Location: Longmont, Colorado, United States; onsite at the Longmont office

Salary: $150,000–$255,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead enablement, automation, and infrastructure development for large-scale pre-silicon emulation and FPGA prototyping platforms.
• Support product firmware, firmware validation, security firmware, and ASIC validation and verification throughout the development cycle.
• Develop scripts, tools, and automation for platform deployment, debugging, monitoring, and user workflows.
• Debug complex issues across hardware, firmware, software, infrastructure, and user environments.
• Scale platform solutions across farm-based deployments and optimize hardware usage.
• Document and share solutions to difficult technical problems with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• 8+ years of experience in pre-silicon development, emulation, FPGA prototyping, ASIC validation, firmware development, or related platform engineering.
• Experience with ASIC or firmware development and Cadence, Siemens, or Synopsys emulation platforms or FPGA-based prototyping environments.
• Ability to debug system-level issues across hardware, software, and platform infrastructure.
• Experience with Linux and Windows environments and expertise in Tcl.
• Familiarity with PCIe, UFS, USB, SD, UART, JTAG, I2C, HSSTP, and related interfaces and protocols.
