Sr. Dir., Business Technology Strategy

Location: Hybrid, with the primary location in New York City, United States. Additional posting locations include Tampa, FL; Collegeville, PA; Groton, CT; La Jolla, CA; Bothell, WA; Canada; Greece; Ireland; Switzerland; and Walton Oaks, UK. On-site work is strongly preferred. Remote consideration is limited to internal candidates already designated as remote. Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.

Annual base salary: $230,900–$384,800 in the United States; Tampa, FL: $207,800–$346,300. Eligible for a 25% bonus target and a share-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

• Act as the primary liaison between business divisions and Digital, translating divisional priorities into aligned technology direction.
• Align programs and projects with hirify.global’s eight Digital Core Platforms, digital standards, and reusable enterprise capabilities.
• Lead and develop Director-level Technical Specialists while balancing coverage across divisions and strategic outcomes.
• Chair or co-lead Architecture Review Board reviews and guide major technology decisions.
• Establish governance for reliability, security, documentation, operational excellence, and delivery assurance.
• Partner with senior business and Digital leaders to resolve trade-offs and drive measurable outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• 12+ years of significant leadership experience in technology strategy, business partnership, or large-scale program delivery.
• Experience aligning business-division technology needs with enterprise platforms and standards.
• Experience leading and developing senior technical talent, including Director-level specialists.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, data and integration patterns, AI-enabled delivery, security, and technology governance.
• U.S. permanent work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

• Advanced degree in technology, engineering, business, or a related discipline.
• Experience in a highly regulated global enterprise with complex compliance, privacy, security, and risk requirements.
• Experience leading an architecture review board, governance forum, or technology standards body.
• Experience influencing C-suite or enterprise leadership teams and building trusted partnerships.
