Salary: $136,200–$227,875 per year

What you will do

• Lead the development, maintenance, governance, and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Architecture program.
• Define architecture principles, standards, reusable services, governance processes, and strategic artifacts.
• Maintain enterprise inventories covering capabilities, applications, integrations, data flows, and technology platforms.
• Own a 3–5-year technology roadmap covering modernization, consolidation, technical debt, risks, and strategic investments.
• Lead architecture reviews and advise on cloud adoption, hybrid architecture, infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with executives, scientific stakeholders, product owners, architects, infrastructure teams, and Agile delivery roles.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or six years of relevant experience in lieu of the degree.
• At least five years of experience in Enterprise Architecture within complex IT environments.
• Experience developing Enterprise Architecture programs using TOGAF or equivalent methodologies.
• Experience with enterprise roadmaps, architecture standards, governance, modernization, business process analysis, requirements management, and solution design.
• Knowledge of ERP, finance, purchasing, contracts, HR, facilities and asset management, data warehouses, BI, integration, cloud, networking, virtualization, containers, storage, and cybersecurity.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAFe, hybrid or cloud-native architectures, and Azure or other enterprise cloud platforms.
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint, IBM Maximo, IBM Planning & Analytics, Cority, Cornerstone, or OnBase.
• Experience in scientific, laboratory, federally funded research, high-performance computing, AI/ML, or modern data environments.
• CISSP, TOGAF, or another Enterprise Architecture certification.
