Director, Technology Strategy & Enablement (AI)

Location: Based in New York, NY, hybrid, with travel to client sites as required (typically 25–50%)

Base pay: $170,000–$213,000 annually, plus incentive compensation

What you will do

• Sell and lead technology strategy and enablement engagements, including technology assessments, operating model design, portfolio rationalization, governance frameworks, modernization, AI adoption roadmaps, and readiness assessments.
• Manage complex programs and workstreams while ensuring quality, timelines, cost control, and client satisfaction.
• Build trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, and senior stakeholders throughout assessment, design, implementation, and sustainment phases.
• Support business development, proposals, go-to-market initiatives, offering development, playbooks, tools, and accelerators.
• Lead engagement teams of 3–10 consultants and on-demand talent, while coaching and developing technology practitioners.
• Collaborate across Data & AI, ERP, Finance, OCM, and Cybersecurity practices on integrated solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in technology strategy, enterprise architecture, or technology transformation consulting.
• Expertise in operating model design, portfolio rationalization, technology governance, enterprise architecture, cloud migration, Agile/DevOps transitions, M&A technology integration, or AI readiness.
• Experience leading complex client engagements, consulting teams, work planning, coaching, quality oversight, and performance feedback.
• Hands-on experience with cloud, ERP, data, and collaboration platforms, including structured assessments, target-state definition, and actionable roadmaps.
• Strong project management, analytical, facilitation, and executive communication skills, with experience in business development and senior client relationships.

Nice to have

• Certifications such as TOGAF, cloud platform, AI, ITIL, PMP, or Agile certifications.
• Industry experience in financial services, healthcare, technology, or private equity.
• Multi-industry consulting experience.
