Director, Global Digital Platform Technology Lead (AI)

Location: New York, New York; hybrid workplace model with at least four full days each week in an hirify.global office

Salary: $240,000–$260,000 per year, plus incentive pay

What you will do

• Define and execute multi-year technology strategy and roadmaps for advisor portals, institutional client platforms, digital servicing capabilities, and public websites.
• Lead AI-enabled client experiences, including personalization, intelligent self-service, recommendations, conversational experiences, and workflow automation.
• Drive modernization across web, portals, APIs, data, content delivery, search, analytics, security, observability, and customer-engagement technologies.
• Partner with executive stakeholders across Distribution, Marketing, Product, Client Service, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and regional business teams.
• Set architecture standards and guide cloud-native development, API-first design, DevSecOps, automated testing, observability, and resilient platform operations.
• Build and mentor digital engineering, architecture, and platform teams while managing strategic vendors and technology partners.

Requirements

• 10+ years of technology leadership experience with significant responsibility for customer-facing digital platforms.
• Experience in financial services, asset management, wealth management, fintech, or another regulated industry.
• Proven leadership of enterprise-scale portals, external websites, digital servicing platforms, advisor tools, or institutional client platforms.
• Strong technical depth across digital architecture, cloud platforms, APIs, integrations, content platforms, personalization, security, and scalable engineering practices.
• Experience defining multi-year roadmaps and influencing senior executives in large, complex, matrixed organizations with regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering AI-enabled products, intelligent workflow automation, personalization, or emerging digital experiences.
• Asset management experience.
