S&OP Analyst (Automotive)

Location: Troy, Michigan, United States; regular on-site attendance is required. Travel of up to 10% internationally and domestically may be required.

What you will do

• Drive the monthly S&OP cycle by developing demand forecasts, integrating supply plans, and facilitating consensus plans aligned with business goals.
• Analyze supply and demand gaps and recommend inventory, capacity, purchasing, and contingency actions.
• Monitor inventory health, warehouse readiness, service levels, forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and fill rates.
• Prepare S&OP reports and financial impact assessments covering revenue at risk, inventory investment, and working capital exposure.
• Support OEM escalations, material availability analysis, shipment feasibility, order processing, EDI requirements, and shipment labeling.
• Improve S&OP workflows, documentation, data visibility, and operational efficiency in partnership with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in supply chain management.
• Working knowledge of ERP, MRP, and WMS systems, with the ability to interpret complex data and turn findings into recommendations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, process documentation, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to independently lift and carry boxes weighing 10–20 lb and attend occasional meetings outside regular business hours when necessary.

Nice to have

• Experience in a manufacturing environment or supply chain role involving S&OP, demand planning, or supply planning.
• Automotive industry experience.
• Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English.
