Manager, Parts Logistics (Automotive)

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States; based at the corporate headquarters with 4–5 days per week in the office and regular in-person meetings and events.

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Lead aftersales parts logistics and warehouse operations, including inventory flow, material handling, packaging, and distribution network optimization.
• Develop strategies to improve logistics efficiency, warehouse productivity, inventory availability, service performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Optimize warehouse layouts, storage utilization, labor productivity, throughput, safety compliance, and operational standards.
• Design and continuously improve packaging strategies focused on product protection, cost efficiency, sustainability, and scalability.
• Establish and improve KPIs covering inventory accuracy, fulfillment, warehouse productivity, order accuracy, dock-to-stock performance, and supplier service levels.
• Manage 3PLs, warehouse providers, packaging suppliers, and corrugate vendors while leading network analysis, capacity planning, transportation optimization, sustainability, and risk mitigation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in logistics, 3PL management, warehousing, supply chain operations, distribution, or related operational leadership.
• Leadership experience managing teams, suppliers, cross-functional initiatives, and operational functions.
• Strong knowledge of warehousing, inventory management, packaging, distribution networks, and supply chain optimization.
• Experience implementing and optimizing ERP, WMS, TMS, and supply chain technology platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive, aftermarket parts distribution, manufacturing, or related industries.
• German language proficiency.
