TL;DR
Support Engineer, SAP ABAP/BTP (SAP): Providing remote support for mission-critical SAP applications and building cloud integrations, APIs, and event-driven services with an accent on ABAP, SAP BTP, Brazil localization, and incident response. Focus on designing secure integrations, optimizing complex SAP environments, managing CI/CD and transport governance, and resolving P1/P2 issues under SLA.

What you will do
- Research, troubleshoot, develop, test, package, and deliver fixes for complex SAP ABAP and BTP environments.
- Build and operate SAP BTP services using Cloud Foundry or Kyma, Destinations, Connectivity, Cloud Connector, and XSUAA.
- Design and manage OData and REST APIs, API Management policies, SAP Event Mesh integrations, SAP CAP services, and ABAP RAP applications.
- Establish CI/CD and transport governance with gCTS, CTS+, ATC quality checks, code reviews, and automated testing.
- Optimize performance and security, support BW and Analytics integrations, and develop Brazil localization solutions for Nota Fiscal and tax processes.
- Handle P1/P2 incidents under SLA, produce root-cause analyses and runbooks, and deliver knowledge-transfer sessions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with ABAP, Fiori, SAP modules, and SAP BTP administration and integration.
- 3+ years of experience with SAP FI/CO, MM, and SD, including highly customized ECC or 4.x environments.
- Hands-on experience with OData/REST APIs, API Management, SAP CAP, ABAP RAP, Event Mesh, CI/CD, performance analysis, and security controls.
- Experience supporting Brazil localization, including Nota Fiscal, tax determination, and fiscal document processing.
- Ability to manage critical incidents, work under SLA-driven conditions, troubleshoot complex problems, and document solutions.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese is required. Spanish is a plus.

- SAP certifications.
- Consulting experience, country-specific solutions, and global implementation experience.
- Knowledge of SAP maintenance, patching mechanics, architecture, and multiple SAP releases.
