SAP BTP Engineer

What you will do

• Evolve, expand, and maintain SAP RISE and SAP HANA cloud instances.
• Expand SAP features to new countries by implementing accounting events, integrations, reports, and validations.
• Manage SAP BTP administration and governance, including global accounts, directories, subaccounts, entitlements, quotas, and resources.
• Build and operate SAP Integration Suite solutions, including Cloud Integration iFlows, mappings, monitoring, exception handling, and reprocessing.
• Manage APIs, SAP Cloud Connector connections, certificates, security configurations, and integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Participate end to end in business definition, implementation, validation, rollout, and production support.

Requirements

• Professional experience with SAP BTP administration, governance, and productive operations.
• Knowledge of SAP RISE, SAP BTP, SAP ABAP, FIORI, BASIS, Cloud Integrator, SAP standard reports, and SAP HANA Cloud.
• Experience with SAP Cloud Connector, BTP security, IAS/IPS, OAuth 2.0, SAML, and role collections.
• Practical experience with REST, OData, SOAP, JSON/XML payloads, API Management, and SAP or non-SAP integrations.
• Experience with logs and traceability, reconciliation and reprocessing, transport management, alerts, database management, and data modeling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Nice to have

• Hands-on SAP Basis experience, especially S/4HANA technical administration, certificates and trust, HTTP services, SAP Gateway, SOAMANAGER, SM59, and SICF.
• Experience with SAP Business Application Studio, SAP Build, Open Connectors, Groovy Script, or JavaScript.
• Experience with CAP Cloud Application Programming Model using Node.js or Java.
• Experience with Cloud ALM and Event Mesh.
