SAP Fioneer Banking Technical Consultant

Location: Remote, South Africa; travel to client sites may be required as projects warrant.

What you will do

• Lead sales, pre-sales, advisory, and delivery activities for hirify.global Banking projects.
• Advise banking clients on platform conversions, legacy migrations, technical capabilities, integration patterns, and customization decisions.
• Define project scope with Solution Architects, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other stakeholders.
• Create technical architectures, solution concepts, configuration designs, integration documentation, and implementation artefacts.
• Collaborate on integrating hirify.global solutions with channels and downstream systems.
• Provide design authority, technical guidance, thought leadership, and mentorship to junior resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, computer science, technology, or engineering.
• 8+ years of consulting experience across at least three SAP core banking domains, including Deposits, Loans, Master Contracts, Collateral Management, or Payments.
• Hands-on experience with hirify.global Banking implementations, platform upgrades, legacy migrations, and data migration.
• Proficiency in ABAP technologies, including ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary, OO ABAP, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, authorizations, ALE/IDOC, Workflow, Web Dynpro ABAP, enhancements, and modifications.
• Experience with API management, REST/OData, event-driven architecture, software or cloud architecture, and hirify.global platform capabilities.
• Client-facing consulting, presentation, facilitation, business writing, analytical problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of domestic and international banking domains.
• Experience applying AI-driven techniques to analysis, automation, and delivery efficiency in hirify.global Banking implementations.
