Senior Software Engineer (NetSuite/SuiteScript)

Location: Colombia; fully remote role

What you will do

• Build, enhance, and scale the ZoneBilling SuiteApp using SuiteScript, JavaScript, SQL, and the proprietary SDK.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and create unit tests to prevent regressions.
• Design test cases, troubleshoot defects, and resolve issues affecting functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with the principal architect, engineers, product managers, and QA to define and refine features.
• Participate in code reviews, document systems and architecture, and share development practices across teams.
• Suggest improvements to engineering tools, processes, and development workflows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional full-stack software development experience.
• Strong JavaScript and/or SuiteScript skills, with experience in React, SQL, REST and SOAP APIs.
• Demonstrable experience with NetSuite SuiteCloud development and related technologies.
• Knowledge of web services, JSON, XML, object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Experience with Git, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, HTML/CSS, and modern web development fundamentals.
• Billing and revenue domain knowledge, fintech experience, or experience with ERP, HRIS, payroll, finance, or CRM systems.

Nice to have

• TypeScript experience.
• Experience with Node.js or Java.
• Interest in using GenAI tooling to improve development efficiency.
