Strategic Planning & Operations Team Lead (AI/Healthcare)

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts or Morristown, New Jersey; hybrid work with three days per week in the office and approximately 20% travel

What you will do

• Lead operational planning and execution across Global HEVA Specialty Care, translating strategic priorities into processes, deliverables, and measurable outcomes.
• Oversee evidence communication, U.S. dissemination, publication planning, Core Value Dossiers, and AMCP Dossiers.
• Manage HUB coordination, resource planning, utilization tracking, budgets, vendors, and operational KPIs.
• Lead the HEVA Innovation Incubator, including adoption of AI and digital tools in research, communications, and operations.
• Coordinate launch readiness and business development support across HEVA, business partners, and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain SOPs, compliance processes, audit readiness, quality improvement, and collaboration with Finance, Legal, Compliance, Procurement, Quality Assurance, and IS.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; post-bachelor’s education in business administration, finance, economics, healthcare, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, contract clinical or health outcomes research, academic healthcare research, or a relevant healthcare administration environment.
• Experience leading and developing direct reports in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
• Knowledge of healthcare research, evidence-based medicine, scientific exchange, publication processes, and evidence dissemination pathways.
• Experience with project management, operational performance, budgets, compliance, SOPs, and audit readiness.
• Strong written and oral English communication skills and the ability to partner across Finance, Legal, Compliance, Procurement, Quality Assurance, and IS.

Nice to have

• Advanced training in business administration, finance, economics, healthcare, or a related discipline.
• Experience with AI, digital tools, publication operations, evidence dissemination, or health outcomes research operations in a pharmaceutical or healthcare context.
• Significant leadership experience and an entrepreneurial approach to solving complex operational problems.
