Senior Director of Revenue Accounting (SaaS)

What you will do

• Lead revenue accounting and ensure compliance with ASC 606 across complex SaaS contracts.
• Oversee quote-to-cash, billing, collections, revenue close, reporting, and external revenue disclosures.
• Maintain revenue recognition policies, standalone selling price analyses, and transaction price allocation methodologies.
• Ensure SOX 404(b) controls are documented and effective across quote-to-cash processes.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal and external audits involving revenue and receivables.
• Drive process transformation and AI automation initiatives while partnering with Deal Desk, Sales, Legal, FP&A, Product, Engineering, and Deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting and billing/collections, including 5+ years in leadership.
• Deep expertise in ASC 606 and complex SaaS or subscription-based contracts.
• Experience leading order-to-cash processes and billing and accounts receivable operations.
• Experience in a public company environment with SOX compliance and external audits.
• Strong systems knowledge, such as NetSuite, Salesforce, CPQ, Zuora, or similar platforms; ability to operate as a player-coach in a lean environment.
