Senior Director Construction

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada, United States; remote work available within the United States

Salary: $134,000–$240,000 per year

What you will do

• Provide executive-level oversight of development, pre-construction, construction, scheduling, design coordination, logistics, constructability, and project closeout.
• Lead constructability reviews, identify design conflicts and sequencing risks, and guide value engineering, temporary works, phasing, and means-and-methods decisions.
• Direct field construction operations and maintain progress, safety, quality, budget, and schedule across active project sites.
• Review contractor CPM schedules, validate logic, durations, and resource loading, and drive recovery strategies for schedule risks.
• Coordinate design teams, engineers, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve design gaps, trade conflicts, access constraints, and material-staging issues.
• Oversee crane planning, rigging, temporary utilities, material laydown, transportation, site access, heavy lifts, and phased construction operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent field experience may substitute.
• At least 10 years of progressive commercial construction experience, primarily managing field operations from sitework through structure, building envelope, and interior fit-out.
• Experience with complex construction projects exceeding $500 million, including entertainment venues, stadiums, convention centers, or comparable facilities.
• Hands-on expertise coordinating structural steel, concrete, curtain wall, MEP, specialty systems, complex erection sequences, heavy lifts, and phased operations.
• Strong knowledge of construction documents, shop drawings, erection plans, CPM schedules, crane logistics, rigging, temporary shoring, bracing, means and methods, and union labor environments.
• Ability to manage multiple project locations, challenge contractors, communicate field risks to executive leadership, and lead trade partners with technical credibility.
