Senior Cost Estimator (Industrial Construction)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $148,762–$160,000 annually, plus an annual performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost management processes for construction projects.
• Prepare preliminary through detailed cost estimates based on project requirements, procurement strategy, contract type, building codes, and market conditions.
• Support project managers and real estate teams overseeing industrial and office construction activities worldwide.
• Identify cost risks, develop mitigation measures, and review cost forecasts and reports during project execution.
• Support value engineering, price negotiations, and claim negotiations with general contractors.
• Help project managers deliver projects on time and within budget.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in cost estimating and cost management across pre-contract and post-contract phases.
• International experience with industrial construction projects and knowledge of cost benchmarks for manufacturing, testing, R&D, warehouse, and office facilities.
• Strong understanding of contract types, including Design-Bid-Build, Design & Build, open book/cost-plus-fee, project partnering, and BTS lease arrangements.
• Experience with BIM, cost databases, Microsoft Office, and tools such as RIB iTwo or CostX.
• Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
