Expert Compliance Risk Advisor (Remote)

Location: United States; remote position with a hybrid work arrangement available

Salary: $80,237–$139,077 per year, plus variable pay opportunity

What you will do

• Advise internal partners on regulatory compliance requirements and consumer credit services issues.
• Assess business and functional procedures against global policies, identify control gaps, and track remediation plans.
• Collaborate with Legal, Information Security, Governmental Affairs, and business teams on compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
• Participate as a subject-matter expert in regulatory examinations by collecting and analyzing requested data and documentation.
• Support ad hoc regulatory requests within service-level agreements and help prepare materials for regulatory meetings.
• Build productive relationships, manage conflict professionally, and influence stakeholders to improve compliance outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least three years of experience in regulatory risk, compliance, or audit processes.
• Knowledge of federal and state privacy laws and regulations, including FCRA, FACTA, and GLBA, preferably from a consumer reporting agency perspective.
• Ability to understand complex business issues and develop practical resolution strategies.
• Strong research, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with business and control functions.
