Compliance Specialist II or III (Internet Infrastructure)

Location: Reston, Virginia, United States; hybrid work schedule based in the Reston office

Salary: $67,700–$91,700 annually for Compliance Specialist II; $89,900–$121,700 annually for Compliance Specialist III. Discretionary bonus and possible stock awards may also apply.

What you will do

• Support the administration and execution of the Registry-Registrar Compliance Program.
• Participate in audits covering ICANN agreements, consensus policies, registry-registrar agreements, data escrow agreements, and registry services agreements.
• Gather data and prepare compliance reports, correspondence, policy documentation, and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain databases tracking compliance activities, deadlines, follow-up items, and case status.
• Manage cases in the team queue, including DNS Abuse cases, in accordance with established procedures.
• Coordinate with legal, registrars, ICANN, and internal departments on compliance activities.

Requirements

• Experience in corporate, IT, or regulatory compliance, contract management, or business operations.
• 1–5 years of experience for Compliance Specialist II or 5+ years for Compliance Specialist III.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel lookups, pivot tables, graphs, calculations, and formulas.
• Proficiency with relevant software such as Salesforce.
• An associate or bachelor’s degree in business, a paralegal certificate, or a high school diploma/GED; CPCM certification is preferred.
