What you will do

• Prepare pre-dispensed methadone and take-home bottles for patient administration.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and maintain medication accountability.
• Reconcile monthly inventory and record daily transactions between pharmacy and nursing departments.
• Report irreconcilable events and discrepancies according to company policy and DEA regulations.
• Complete required professional development and training from federal, state, local, and accrediting agencies.

Requirements

• Active Pharm D and DEA licensure in the state of South Carolina required.
• Effective communication skills for phone and in-person interactions.
• Ability to read correspondence and computer screens and to stand, bend, stoop, and stretch for prolonged periods.
• Comfort working with variable workloads and periodic high-stress situations.
• Familiarity with medical office conditions and diverse patient populations; protective equipment may be required.
