Medical Assistant (Behavioral Health)

Location: On-site in Downtown Denver, Colorado, USA

Salary: $21.00–$23.00 per hour plus a quarterly incentive structure

What you will do

• Obtain vital signs, conduct health assessments, perform TB testing, and collect blood specimens.
• Collect, process, and ship laboratory specimens accurately and safely.
• Coordinate exam scheduling, annual physicals, and monthly testing lists to support continuity of care.
• Maintain laboratory supplies, equipment, inventory, and clinical documentation.
• Safeguard protected health information and maintain a clean, organized, sanitary environment.
• Collaborate with clinical staff on laboratory testing and patient care.

Requirements

• Active Medical Assistant certification required.
• Ability to work on-site in Downtown Denver.
• Ability to work a Monday–Friday schedule from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment with prolonged standing, bending, and stooping.
• Ability to use appropriate personal protective equipment and work around bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseases.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and medical assistant or phlebotomist procedures.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and computer skills.
