Senior Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

What you will do

• Partner with R&D and G&A leaders on budgets, forecasts, headcount plans, and workforce planning.
• Analyze headcount, compensation, technology investments, external resources, and departmental spending.
• Translate financial and operational data into recommendations on investments, trade-offs, resource allocation, and efficiency.
• Prepare financial analyses for business reviews, planning cycles, investment decisions, and resource requests.
• Coordinate with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and Corporate FP&A.
• Support annual budgeting and monthly and quarterly forecasting while improving reporting and visualization tools with the Business Intelligence team.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or a similar finance role.
• Experience as a Finance Business Partner, including challenging assumptions and influencing senior leaders.
• Strong understanding of cost structures, workforce planning, operating expenses, resource allocation, and company-wide financial projections.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Sigma or Power BI.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• CPA or CFA designation.
• Experience supporting R&D, technology, or G&A functions in a software or technology company.
• Experience with Adaptive Planning or a similar financial planning and budgeting system.
• Comfort working with evolving priorities, ambiguity, and incomplete information.
