Control Systems Senior Engineer (Embedded Systems)

Location: Mossville, Illinois, United States; onsite at the office five days per week. Relocation assistance is available, and visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants. Travel is up to 10%.

Salary: $112,710–$169,060 per year.

What you will do

• Design, develop, integrate, and test embedded software features for Track-Type Tractor electronic controls.
• Create detailed software specifications from high-level customer requirements.
• Support machine builds, electronics, software testing, and software validation.
• Develop test plans and validate embedded software and systems.
• Support software releases, documentation, wiring, and component updates for field and customer use.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects while managing issue submissions.

Requirements

• Solid experience with embedded systems and their applications.
• Experience with electronically controlled mechanical systems and electrical components.
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot basic machine wiring issues.
• Knowledge of requirements analysis, data link communication, and technical troubleshooting.
• Experience developing embedded real-time software or systems for mobile, earthmoving, agricultural, industrial, or off-highway applications.
• Ability to work onsite in Mossville, Illinois, five days per week.
