Personal Banker (Retail Banking)

Location: Trussville, Alabama; based in Birmingham, Alabama. In-office role.

What you will do

• Acquire and deepen branch customer relationships through proactive sales and service activities.
• Identify customer needs, recommend appropriate banking solutions, and improve financial wellbeing.
• Drive outbound calls, appointment setting, service-to-sales conversations, teller interactions, and lobby engagement.
• Build customer loyalty and share of wallet through personalized experiences and ecosystem partnerships.
• Resolve customer problems using product and procedural knowledge while managing operational risk.
• Support daily branch operations with accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

• Typically 3+ years of related experience or relevant product knowledge.
• An associate degree or equivalent experience is typically expected; comparable education, certification, and military experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of banking products, retail lending, prospecting, selling, and customer needs.
• Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Must work in the Trussville/Birmingham, Alabama area in an in-office role.
• Candidates are subject to applicable background checks under Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regulations and FDIA requirements.
