Principal Architect, Enterprise Systems (Performance & Attribution)

Location: Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Full-time hybrid role with on-site work in the Boston office 3 days per week.

Salary: $190,000–$220,000 per year, plus potential discretionary incentive compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Build relationships across Performance Attribution, Investment Operations, Client Reporting, Enterprise Technology, and strategic technology vendors.
• Lead analysis from concept through implementation and translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
• Analyze investment workflows, data, and business processes to improve efficiency, data quality, and operational resiliency.
• Investigate business and data issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions with business and technology teams.
• Shape the evolution of Performance & Attribution technology capabilities and deliver scalable solutions with engineers, architects, and vendors.
• Mentor teammates, share knowledge, and bring structure to complex business and technology challenges.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience in the investment management industry.
• Significant experience with Performance & Attribution, Securities Operations, Investment Operations, Portfolio Accounting, or related functions.
• Experience building stakeholder partnerships and delivering solutions for complex business problems.
• Experience leading business analysis throughout the software delivery lifecycle in an Agile environment.
• Strong analytical, facilitation, communication, problem-solving, ownership, and continuous-learning skills.
• Experience with BISAM B-One, FactSet Performance, Snowflake, SQL, and Tableau.
