Salary: $65,000–$104,650 annual base pay, plus potential annual performance bonus.

What you will do

  • Guide and assist surgeons in the operating room during orthopedic surgical cases.
  • Provide direct customer support, ensure equipment is available and functioning, and advance DePuy Synthes sales.
  • Troubleshoot physician and customer needs, manage hospital billing, and create and close purchase orders.
  • Consult with operating rooms and sterile processing departments.
  • Track, maintain, deploy, and transport instruments, implants, and equipment across the assigned territory.
  • Share customer, procedural, and marketplace insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; or an associate degree or medical certification such as CST or PT plus at least 2 years of relevant experience; or at least 4 years of relevant experience; recently transitioned military personnel may also qualify.
  • Valid driver’s license issued in the United States required.
  • Ability to work in a laboratory and operating-room environment and travel, including possible weekends and overnight trips.
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the assigned Baltimore territory.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, problem-solving, business acumen, customer focus, and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of human anatomy and physiology; surgical instrument, procedure, protocol, and solution knowledge preferred.

Nice to have

  • Strong technical product knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, protocols, and solutions.
  • Experience with customer analytics, solutions selling, sales projections, and relationship building.
