Planning Transformation Lead (MedTech)

What you will do

• Support implementation of a new distribution hub and transformation of the multi-node distribution network.
• Assess impacts on inventory deployment, replenishment strategies, customer service levels, and supply continuity.
• Design and support Multi-Node Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP), inventory policies, and replenishment processes.
• Analyze safety stock, inventory positioning, deployment, transfers, redeployment, and balancing opportunities across network nodes.
• Prepare scenario analyses, identify supply chain risks, and recommend mitigation strategies during planning, testing, cutover, and stabilization.
• Partner with supply chain planning, manufacturing, logistics, customer service, IT, and distribution operations teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, materials management, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in supply chain, planning, inventory management, or related functions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, data interpretation, communication, organization, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and Power Query; proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.
• Understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and interdependencies.
• Up to 25% domestic travel is required, and the role is based in Irvine under the Flex Hybrid attendance policy.

Nice to have

• Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, consumer products, or manufacturing.
• Experience with inventory management, supply planning, demand planning, S&OP, order management, MRP, or financial planning.
• Experience with Power BI, Alteryx, Infinity, SAP, Blue Yonder, JDE, or Anaplan.
