Maintenance Shop Technician A (Diesel Trucks)

Location: Fort Collins, Colorado, USA; full-time onsite shop position

Pay range: $28.50–$39.22 per hour

What you will do

• Repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel heavy-duty trucks and refuse equipment.
• Service chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic and electrical controls, air and hydraulic brakes, engines, transmissions, suspension, drivetrain, and steering systems.
• Diagnose diesel fuel, emissions, aftertreatment, REGEN, HVAC, and electrical system issues using electronic tools and scan equipment.
• Perform line maintenance, welding, fabrication, inspections, and road repairs.
• Complete company training and provide reliable fleet support for drivers and local operations.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience working as a technician on heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and perform complex repairs with limited supervision.
• Experience with several heavy-truck or automotive systems, including suspension and steering, engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, hydraulics, drivetrains, and diesel emissions.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• ASE Heavy Truck certifications, LNG/CNG experience, and Class B or higher CDL are preferred but not required.
