Diesel Mechanic (Cryogenic Equipment)

What you will do

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on tractors, trailers, and specialized company equipment.
• Repair diesel tractors, cryogenic trailers, tube trailers, hydraulic pumping systems, product-transfer pumps, and associated equipment.
• Read equipment condition reports and repair orders, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions in a supply chain and logistics environment.
• Maintain fleet safety, reliability, and compliance with DOT regulations and internal procedures.
• Communicate with supervisors and operators about equipment problems and preventive maintenance techniques.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in highway equipment maintenance.
• Experience using basic hand tools, power tools, diesel tractors, and cryogenic trailers; own hand tools are required.
• Ability to communicate, read, and understand English verbally and in writing.
• Ability to lift more than 50 pounds, work in confined spaces, and work in shop and outdoor conditions.
• Ability to work extended hours, shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and approximately 10% travel as business needs require.
• Ability to follow safety protocols, manufacturing standards, and transportation regulations.

Nice to have

• High school diploma or GED; technical school classes are preferred.
• Class A CDL with HazMat and DOT brake certification.
• Computer literacy, including TMT, Google Chrome, and OEM diagnostic systems.
• Diagnostic experience with ABS and DEF systems and maintenance software.
• Cryogenics experience and knowledge of transportation regulations.
