Sr. Engineer, Cloud Security CNAPP

Location: London, Ontario, Canada; fully remote from home

What you will do

• Engineer, deploy, and maintain CNAPP capabilities across AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, and Alibaba cloud environments.
• Implement CSPM, CWPP, CIEM, Kubernetes security, container security, IaC security, and cloud detection and response solutions.
• Identify cloud misconfigurations, excessive permissions, vulnerabilities, and other security risks, then drive remediation.
• Design automated security controls, policies, workflows, integrations, and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
• Partner with DevOps and Platform Engineering to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment processes.
• Maintain operational dashboards, reporting, and metrics for cloud security posture, risk reduction, and remediation effectiveness.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud security, security engineering, DevSecOps, infrastructure engineering, cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with CNAPP platforms such as Wiz, Prisma Cloud, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Cortex Cloud, CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security, Upwind, or comparable solutions.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, including networking, IAM, compute, storage, managed services, Kubernetes, containers, serverless technologies, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and DevSecOps practices using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, or similar tools, and CI/CD platforms such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or Jenkins.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar technologies.
• Remote work arrangement is tied to the Canada-based position.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Cloud and security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, CKA, or CKS.
• Knowledge of security operations, threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, and NIST, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, or SOC 2 frameworks.
