Senior Cloud Security Consultant

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; flexible work from home, the client site, or the Amsterdam office.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and control security solutions for applications and data hosted in public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Provide benchmarks and decision support for cloud technologies, design technical and functional cloud architectures, and deliver proofs of concept.
• Automate the installation of technical foundations and support microservices, containers, and continuous integration and delivery approaches.
• Manage end-to-end projects or sub-projects, including reporting, deliverable validation, and customer relationship management.
• Develop SaaS and cybersecurity solutions through the hirify.global CyberLab, including AI-related initiatives, market benchmarks, and proofs of concept.
• Train users and administrators, contribute to cybersecurity training and publications, support commercial proposals, and supervise junior and confirmed consultants.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, econometrics, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in a consulting firm, including cybersecurity projects.
• Knowledge of Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node, Go, and/or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of IP networks, Unix/Linux, Windows and/or macOS, AWS, Azure and/or GCP, web servers, databases, middleware, and cryptography.
• English and Dutch communication and presentation skills are required; non-Dutch speakers will not be accepted.
• Work permit sponsorship is not available; existing authorization to work in the Netherlands is required.
