Technologist (Electrical Maintenance)

Location: Cleveland, Mississippi, United States; onsite plant maintenance role

Salary: $60,000–$82,500 annually

What you will do

• Lead general and electrical maintenance activities for plant equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, utilities, motors, transformers, and production equipment.
• Build, install, and troubleshoot electrical and control circuits, including motor control circuits, relay logic, PLCs, and VFDs.
• Maintain three-phase induction motors and in-plant power distribution systems from 120 VAC to 13,800 VAC.
• Select and replace fuses, circuit breakers, overload relays, transformers, and wiring.
• Follow plant and departmental environmental health and safety regulations while supporting equipment reliability.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 15 years of electrical experience.
• Experience with industrial maintenance, electrical test equipment, electrical schematics, and the National Electrical Code.
• Ability to install and troubleshoot DC equipment, generators, solenoids, relays, motors, power supplies, PLCs, and motor control circuits.
• Basic pipe-fitting experience and ability to meet confined-space, visual-acuity, audiometric, and hearing-protection requirements.
• Must be authorized to work for an employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available. Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs., working at heights, climbing ladders, and working in hot or cold conditions.
