Facility Technician, Repair & Maintenance Level 4 (MedTech)

What you will do

• Operate, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC, utilities, electrical, mechanical, fire protection, emergency power, water treatment, and environmental control systems.
• Diagnose equipment and building-system problems, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and apply reliability practices such as vibration analysis, infrared inspection, ultrasound, and alignment.
• Monitor alarms and controls through building management systems and document preventive, corrective, proactive, and project activities in Maximo CMMS.
• Coordinate vendors and contractors, order repair materials, maintain spare-parts records, and support facility construction, remodeling, equipment installation, and energy-management projects.
• Support root cause analysis, FMECA, continuous improvement, manufacturing problem-solving, and maintenance planning with the facility team.
• Follow environmental, safety, hazardous-materials, ISO 14001, QSR, and other federal, state, local, and company requirements, including participation in the Hurricanes and Emergency Response Team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in a technical field and technical certification are preferred.
• At least 6 years of related work experience and in-depth technician experience in at least two areas such as electronics, mechanics, electromechanical, or industrial systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Maximo CMMS, plus the ability to interpret technical documents, drawings, blueprints, plans, and schematics.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to work a 12-hour day shift from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on a rotating two-week schedule, with workdays grouped into two- or three-day blocks.
