Tooling Technician (Mold Maker - Days) (Injection Molding)

Location: Onsite in Buffalo Grove, Illinois, United States. Day shift: 6:00 AM–6:00 PM on a 223-day schedule. Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Salary: $25.00–$40.00 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Maintain, repair, and service molds used in injection molding production.
• Troubleshoot complex mold and molding problems with engineering, production, and tooling staff.
• Identify and coordinate solutions for required mold repairs.
• Create mold service work orders and maintain required records.
• Verify that molds are production-ready and communicate their condition to production and engineering.
• Train colleagues on equipment operation in the Tool Repair department.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in mold making, mold design, and/or mold processes strongly preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Microsoft Office and engineering software skills.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Eligibility to work in the United States is required.
