Process Technician (Injection Molding)

Salary: $32.60–$46.75 per hour, paid weekly

What you will do

• Start up and maintain engineering-defined injection molding processes and monitor equipment uptime.
• Operate and troubleshoot injection molding machines, robots, IML systems, and 2-shot technology.
• Complete machine, tool, mold, and equipment preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and routine checks.
• Load and manage raw materials according to technical and compliance specifications.
• Inspect production runs for alignment, aesthetics, colors, defects, and quality compliance.
• Document process, tool, equipment, and material issues and support molding maintenance, automation, grinding, and cooling-system activities.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating and troubleshooting injection molding equipment, including IML, 3-axis robots, and 2-shot technology.
• Experience with injection molding machines from 70-ton to 1500-ton capacity across multiple brands.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency with hand tools, micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision inspection equipment.
• Ability to lift, push, or move up to 50 pounds regularly and perform standing, walking, stooping, bending, and other physical maintenance work for extended periods.
• Ability to work the required shifts, overtime, and weekends when needed; forklift internal certification is required.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment and maintain clean work areas.
